Rainey Street Happy Hour Austin

Rainy Street has become the place to be seen in Austin these days. When I first moved to town 15 years ago. I don’t think there were more than 5 crappy excuses for dive bars in the area. There were even a few residentials houses still for sale. These days many of the old houses have been turned into really cool bars. It’s a little bit of a walk to the south of the heart of Dirty 6th, right next to the river and I-35.

Moonshine – One of our favorite spots in the area, it’s not really on the stip of Raney St, but sort of on the way to dirty 6th. Happy Hours Monday – Thursday, 3-5:30

Lustre Pearl – In the heart of Rainy at 97 Rainey St. Hula hoops and ping-pong tables mixed with some happy hour fun. Happy Hour is Monday – Friday, Open til 8 PM. So you can make it your last stop on happy hour bar hopping adventure all over downtown ATX. The bar servers up, $8 Frozens, $2 Off Drafts and $4 Lone Stars.

Icenhauers – This bar features live music and karaoke on Wednesdays, Dogs are welcome on a leash.

Lucille: One of the more popular bars on Rainey, They sport a Happy Hour 7 day a week. Open til 7:30 Monday – Saturday, Open to 10 on Sunday Fundays.
